A MESSAGE FROM DEAR RAE 

To our Dear Rae Community, 

It’s come to that time where we have to manage our stock and reevaluate our prices. We are so grateful that with the continued support from our Dear Rae community, we have managed to keep our prices unchanged for the last two years. 

Sadly, we cannot ignore that with the ongoing effects of the global pandemic and the persisting war in Ukraine, gold prices are increasing and our Rand is weakening to the dollar. While we understand that gold prices seem far more expensive than silver, brass, and even plated gold, we have always been committed to working with solid metals only. With much longer lifespans, these metals ensure that your Dear Rae treasures can be passed down as heirlooms for generations to come.

We will be increasing a select number of our collections* as of 15 April 2022. 

This gives you two full weeks to shop our 2020/21 prices before they change. 

We would once again like to express our gratitude for your continued support of Dear Rae during these uncertain times. You have allowed us to keep our doors open and machinery running. We promise to continue creating consciously curated collections, and supporting South African industry by employing a local team and sticking to the most sustainable practices we can. 

We are committed to transparency within our community, so feel free to reach out with any questions or suggestions.
